A keen facilitor of lean principles both on the shopfloor and in the office.

Has the proven ability to convert paper based systems into slimmed down computerised versions; control and develop multi-site netwoked coputers; design MS Access databases; Excel Vb systems and intranets and web sites.  

Able to problem solve technical issues and provide basic statisitcs from SPC to FMEA to performance metrics together with the preparation and delivery of professional training to all levels.  Keen advocate of the interactive training sessions based around MTa International resources.

Career background

A qualified metallurgist working out of Sheffield since 1972.  Technical appointments at family concerns; private companies such as Neepsend PLC; integrated steelworks such as BSC and Forgemasters.

Technical Director at stockist and metal processor Maher Limited since 1992 and controlled not only Quality but IT support and development and then Lean Manufacturing. Significant travel in the UK plus Europe, USA and Japan controlling suppliers ans subcontractors which often involved confrontational issues.  Revamped quality systems then integrated system of fellow stockist including transfer of extensive aerospace approvals following takeover.

Formed own family partnership The BPAS Group in 2004 where his management skills continue to be effectively deployed.
