JON GOMM is a singer-songwriter and acoustic solo performer, with an incredible virtuoso guitar style, where he uses one acoustic guitar to create drum sounds, bass lines and sparkling melodies all at the same time. The emphasis is still on the soulful vocals and songwriting however, and his original material is influenced by everything from Robert Johnson to Radiohead, Roni Size to Prince. He is based in Leeds and is working all over the country at the moment. For further details visit www.jongomm.com.
CHARLIE BARKER is a young musician from South Yorkshire,
England, who performs a wide variety of folk, country and original music. She is
an exceptional talent with experience beyond her years. She came second in the Acoustic Roots competition as part of Wickersley Festival in March 2005. She then went on to make the semi-finals of the Radio 2 Young Folk Awards in the Autumn by which time she had released her debut album "Sleeping at the Station" on the RootBeat Records label. She can be seen regularly performing in many of
the acoustic venues and folk clubs in her native South Yorkshire/ Derbyshire
area, and has supported well known acts at these venues. Charlie is now the
resident musician at The Castle Inn, Sheffield. You can see her perform
there on the 1st Sunday of every month. For more information about Charlie visit her website "www.charliebarkermusic.com"

ROGER DAVIES a singer/songwriter from Huddersfield obviously subscribes to the theory that sometimes,
simplicity is the key. Sometimes, an acoustic guitar and a voice is enough when you've got little things called songs. After
leaving his native West Yorkshire, Davies travelled to Dundee,
hung around with Snow Patrol before studying at the Brighton Institute of
Modern Music. His
debut album Littletown, recorded in no more than six days, contains 12
songs which are touching, articulate and warm. His second album Northern Trash is just released. Hailed by Harvey Andrews as the best he has heard in 20 years. "If I had a torch I would hand it to him. He has got everything. I couldn't teach him anything". More details at www.myspace.com/rogerdaviesmusic.
