Significant investment has taken place recently as Chris Thornton-Smith puts together a professional sound, lighting and recording service complete with on-site engineers. He caters for both the events and entertainment industry as well as private functions and can assist with installations, power distribution, staging and audio-visual needs as well.
Blast PA treat each event on its own merits being conscience of your budget constraints before deciding what equipment is needed for a successful event. We therefore prefer to offer a free personal quote on each occasion.
We carry public liability insurance with Arthur Doodson and all equipment is PAT tested and safely transported in professional flightcases. We can assure you of a professional and cost effective solution to your entertainment needs.

In the last 18 months Chris has worked with numerous folk artistes and even toured with Whapweasel. Festival engagements include concert and ceilidh venues at Chippenham, Upton, Shepley, Handley, Priddy and Shrewsbury with numerous corporate events as part of the Transmitta crew at Magna in Rotherham. recording costs are here for those interested in doing a demo or an album and we can now quote for the complete package through to artwork and duplication for as little as 50 albums. Recent albums have been produced for Kerfuffle, Charlie Barker, Ciaran Boyle, Sue and Mike Dewsbury, Philip Brougham and the Nick Rooke Band.
