The home of great acoustics that set the standard for a good night out. Probably one
of the few occasions these days that The BPAS Group partners Pete and Chris Thornton-Smith get to work together.
There are formal concerts, albeit somewhat infrequently these days, with national & local artistes or shows like 'Breaking with Tradition' featuring the exciting contemporary music of Roger Davies, Charlie Barker and Jon Gomm.
For the more informal nights in a bar, festival
or restaurant you can unwind in our Real Music Bar with music ranging from country to blues, originals to covers and traditional to jazz.
Young musicians are also encouraged with a free competition that now moves to Wath in May called the Young Acoustic Roots where the winner will play main stage. 2009 winners were Ciaran Algar and Lizzie Campbell from Stoke.
We also represent ceilidh bands Moondance and Boka Halat to cater for dance music from folk-rock to world vibes.

Young Acoustic Roots interest
